rammington - the cover

In May of 1971, Paul & Linda McCartney released the album "Ram".

One month later, Paul produced an instrumental album of "Ram", arranged by Richard Hewson.

The album, eventually titled "Thrillington", did not see a proper release until April of 1977. It was credited to Percy "Thrills" Thrillington, not Paul or Linda.

It was not a successful release.

The album has been reissued a few times since 1977, but without much fanfare. As such, many fans don't know the album.

As a fan of Paul, and of "Ram", I set out to rectify that situation.

Hello. My name is Daniel Barassi. I have been a Beatles (band and solo project) fanatic since birth, and have been in music production since the 1980s.

Using technology similar to what was used by Peter Jackson and his team on many recent Beatles projects, I was able to pull all of the lead and background vocals (and some instruments) from the original master "Ram" album. I then went and combined those elements with the "Thrillington" album, and the result is "Rammington".

I hope you all enjoy my take on this classic album.
